Aroli is the pole star on the educational horizon of Navi Mumbai. The life journey of Mr. Shuresh (Bhau) Sankpal Saheb who played an important role in making the educational institute famous, is amazing. “Krishna Venna both kept kissing the shore which was purified by the dust of the feet of king Shiva, Satara.” The Bhau spent his childhood in Mhopre, a small village is Karad Taluka of Satara district where he had his primary education in a Zilla Parishad and his secondary education in a private educational institute’s secondary school. Gadge Maharaj college of higher education Ryat Shikhan Sanstha was held at Karad. The motto of the Rayat Education Institution, ‘self-reliant Education is our Beed’ was engraved on the mind of Bhau. Apart from education students from rural areas had to help his family in agricultural work. Mayanagari Mumbai is attractive to the well-off. The Bhau arrived in Navi Mumbai in eighties to try his luck. In the year 1981, Bhau accepted the foundation of the educational institute founded by Balasahab Snakpal. Running; an unadded Gyandeep Vidhyalaya was challenging. But accepting challenges, facing challenges is in the blood of Bhau Sir. Struggle was integral part of his life. Even though the Lunach non-salary grant was not available for many years, the Bhau worked tirelessly to provide additional education facilities to the students. It was the belief of Bhau Sir that the student from ordinary classes should get quality education. In the year 2011, Mr. Shuresh (Bhau) Sankpal Saheb became the president of Gyan Prasarak Education Institution. He never looked back after that. He contributed as much as he could as the captain of the education institution family. On occasion he could not give enough time to his family.
